Metopio continues to add talent to deliver ridiculously powerful data and easy-to-use tools to help clients understand the populations and places they care about.
Steve Harries joined as the Vice President of Product Strategy on December 1st and brings more than a decade of experience to the Metopio roadmap.
Harries is focused on client-centric development as Metopio deploys new data products in 2023. He is also spearheading the organization’s quarterly product releases and driving end-to-end enablement for existing solutions.
“Metopio is fortunate to find someone with a passion for data, expertise with UI/UX and a high level of comfort working in a fast-moving environment,” said Will Snyder, Metopio CEO.
Harries founded Navarc, an eCommerce platform that combines proprietary data assets with critical marketplace data to produce real-time, actionable insights for clients.
Prior to launching his own company, he was Vice President of Experience Design and Innovation at Epsilon, an open, privacy-first advertising consultancy that helps clients enhance, activate and measure campaigns with first-party data. He also served as Epsilon’s Director of Strategy and Growth.
“Metopio’s mission of democratizing data really speaks to me,” said Harries. “If data is the ‘new oil,’ then it needs to be treated as a non-excludable good that is available and refined for anyone to make informed decisions, especially if those decisions can improve the quality of life on a local level.”
Steve has a master’s degree in human computer interaction and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from DePaul University and looks forward to folding both into the Metopio experience.
“Individuals in communities have an intimate knowledge of how they need to improve their own lives, but they just need the right toolkit to know where to start,” Harries noted. “I believe Metopio is this toolkit and I want to help fulfill Metopio’s mission of helping anyone and everyone feel like a data expert.”
