Angie Grover, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Metopio, has held leadership positions that have capitalized on her expertise in healthcare, government, technology and public policy.
Angie spent 30 years leading diverse teams across the country tackling some of healthcare’s thorniest issues – from improving payment models to integrating social services to the intricacies of pharmacy and distribution. She has had legislative victories in every state except Idaho and won awards for advancing telehealth.
During that time, Angie recognized that having more data at her fingertips could have provided a significant advantage or expedited a project’s success. She knew that she was not alone in this experience and many others had the same challenges but just didn’t have a way to access that much-needed data. That’s why she is so passionate about Metopio and helping more people to amplify their impact and tell their stories with data.
Angie frequently speaks on panels and shares insights on topics such as addressing social determinants of health to improve outcomes, using data to drive decisions in the public and private sector, and creating successful public affairs programs to advance policy. She is honored to serve on the Board of New Moms, a social services agency focused on serving homeless teen moms, as well the Partnership for a Connected Illinois which focuses on accelerating and integrating telehealth where it is needed most. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Drake University, and as a life-long learner, will earn her Master of Business Creation from the University of Utah early next year.
